Marketing Sales Manager 

We are looking for an individual to help develop marketing and sales strategies for our Reduced Genome E. Coli platform form technology. Candidate will develop tactical plans, create effective promotional and sales tools, collateral marketing pieces, and utilize multiple channels to promote products. Individual will have strong written and verbal communication skills which will include technical writing and working closely with internal departments to achieve product sales goals. PhD or MS in molecular biology or related field would be an asset but not a requirement.

R&D Scientists (Multiple positions available at all levels)

Scarab Genomics LLC, a leader in synthetic biology, is seeking R&D Scientists at multiple levels of the company with expertise in the area of protein expression, metabolic engineering, cloning, immunology, and plasmid construction. Person must be able to carry out R&D involving development and optimization within our product area. Candidate must have the appropriate level of college and work experience to match the position they are applying for. You must be self motivated, have proven ability in protocol development, excellent time management, analytical, and the ability to develop new products.

Research Technician (Cell Culture) 

The individual selected for the position will be responsible for performing standard cell culture techniques that will include, but not be limited to, plating and maintenance of cell and tissue cultures, cell culture transfection, colormetric analysis and tabulation of results.  The successful candidate will be expected to work with immortalized cell lines as well as primary cell cultures. Experience in molecular biological techniques is a plus. Must have 1-2 years experience in cell culture techniques.

Staff Scientist 

Scarab Genomics LLC, a leader in synthetic biology, is seeking a PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or relevant scientific discipline to join our growing R&D team. Qualified applicants must have at least 3 years of research experience in demonstrated ability to effectively supervise staff, to formulate experimental hypotheses, analyze and interpret scientific data. Candidates must be self motivated and have proven ability in protocol development. Demonstrated working experience with cloning, recombinant protein expression and fermentation are a plus.

Technical Sales 

Scarab Genomics is looking for a dynamic technical sales associate to sell its Reduced Genome E. coli platform technology. The company has a considerable list of lead inquiries from top tier biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. The successful candidate will be expected to effectively present Scarab’s cloning and expression systems to this marketplace and follow up with successful closure. PhD or MS in molecular biology or related field would be an asset but not a requirement.
